Ha, I wondered if anybody else did that.  Easy way to make baits.

I think my first soft plastic baits were made in a cookie sheet.  Over on a bass fishing forum CNC Molds N stuff (Bob) had commented that you could pour plastic in a sheet, cut strips, and catch fish with them.  It worked.  I think he was talking about somebody who wanted "leach" baits, but they work.  I found by tilting the sheet I could make tapered body baits, and cut more shapes than just straight strips too. 

Of course then I got hooked on making my own baits and have a couple dozen machined molds for jigs, spinnerbaits, and of course soft plastics.
