Cast Spiral Keeper Experiment

Video:
SnapShot.png

The buttress thread spiral bait keeper has an edge radius of only 1/64th of an inch to get that "sharp" edge I think it would need to work. As a result that whole feature would need to be finished with at max a 1/32 ball nose end mill. The time to finish would be fairly high driving up the cost of machining. I don't think I'll every add this is a feature on a stock mold, but a custom mold customer might like something like this. I think it would be to expensive for a stock mold. A stock mold customer just wouldn't pay for it.
