Hello everyone. Jay here. I run Howitzer Bait Co. I've been making soft baits for 6 years now and sell to local guys here in NYS. A few are in bass tourneys, a few in kayak tourneys. Started making baits after I lost my father and got stuck in the bottle. Found that it gives me a focus and helps occupy free time with something constructive. I look forward to learning from you all and passing on what knowledge I have to anyone that needs it.

Welcome to Tackle Maker.  We get so many spammers and scammers it's nice to see a legit registration.

Don't forget after you have made a few posts it should unlock to allow you to add your company information to your signature and profile.  (Tastefully)

Also, you can create a personal icon that shows your logo or company info, but there is a size limit.  I forget what it is.

Also, while BUY MY STUFF posts generally aren't allowed you are welcome to post pictures (not ads) of stuff you made that you are particularly proud of.  Just post it in the right forum.

Again, welcome.

Thank you. I appreciate the welcome. I dont do the socials so I stick to small forums like this. I'd be happy to contribute to any recipe threads and "How To/Help Me" threads.

Right now I am studying hard bait finishes.  I'll start a thread on it.

Hey welcome aboard.  I mostly joined this forum because I like the molds Bob makes.  So far with you that makes 4 or 5 members now that aren't spammers.  Hopefully we will see more.

I am glad Bob deletes all the scam accounts every couple days, but I think having a low member count doesn't help induce new members to stay.  Especially since so many these days are just in anything for what they can get.

Anyway, welcome to Tackle Maker.
