This is not the version that will be released. I plan to release with 2 each 3/4 oz, 1oz, and 1-1/2oz. All 1 oz shown, but this version will NOT be the retail version.

Before you ask can you make it... however it is that would be best for you, please consider that making different versions is extra work. If you are willing to pay my rate for that extra work then yes, otherwise no.

What do you use those big tubes for? 

That mold makes jigs for a 3/4 inch by 6 inch long tube right?

3/4 by 6 is not the biggest tube mold I make.  Its not even the first big tube mold I made, but to answer your question. 

The first time I saw big tubes used was flipping for largemouth bass right here in Yuma Arizona on the river.  Most of my customers use them for deep lake trout fishing, but a fair number use them for musky in freshwater, and both grouper and halibut in saltwater. 

For bassin' they are typically texposed on a wide gap hook behind a bobber stopped flipping sinker.  For other applications they are usually fished on a jig, but I saw one used as a trailer on a big musky spinner.  One angler told me they fish them (smaller sizes) for everything in areas where small squid are a primary bait species.  I imagine there are as many ways to fish tubes (and big tubes) as there are ways to fish any other soft plastic bait.  Maybe with the right rigging even as a topwater bait.

Have you actually flipped those big tubes and caught bass around Yuma?

Yep.  I have flipped with them and caught fish with them.  I never really smoked'em with tubes, but I caught bass.  Smoke sparkle, red shad, watermelon, and white depending on conditions.  I used 1/2 by 4-1/2.  I never used the bigger tubes, but one local tackle maker makes tubes by the hundreds for a couple local anglers.  I don't know what colors they like.  I know about the time I moved on from flipping tubes the BoomBoom(tm) tubes were getting popular at the local tackle store.  They looked like a 3/4 or 1 inch about tube 5-1/2 inches long to me. 

As you probably know tubes are a big deal for smallmouth up north in the great lakes region.  I don't see why they wouldn't work here if you have the knack for fishing them.
